The French press method is classic and reliable, if you do three things right. First, use the proper grind – slightly coarse, not too fine. Then, use water at the proper temperature – 85-90º Celsius (185-195º Fahrenheit). Third, time the brew properly (about 3-4 minutes before you press it).
